Refined Modern Wedding in Hyde Park

The Penthouse Hyde Park is a modern black and white venue in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. This refined editorial played to the design of the venue while adding layers of texture, pattern and color. For the ceremony, we created a structure to have the floral look like it was floating without hanging floral from the ceiling. We created white frames that blended into the trim on the white walls. The floral consisted of anthurium, roses, garden roses, ranunculus, spirea, and lilac to name a few.

The venue has gorgeous floral murals and flooring in the cocktail hour spaces, hallways, and bathrooms. We incorporated a floral linen and napkin to tie those details together. The large floral patterns were also incorporated into the stationery. The centerpiece floral featured a modern design of low bowl arrangements with floral blocking paired with light blue and black taper candles in a modern black holder and modern votive candle holders.
