Our team travels throughout the Milwaukee, Madison, Door County and Chicago areas for weddings and special events as well as destinations worldwide. We strive to create artful and beautiful floral designs and installations for each of our events. We believe in supporting local and American grown product as much as we can, but also use beautiful internationally grown flowers. We love gatherings of all sizes but also believe in doing our part to be as eco-conscious as possible in an effort to reduce waste and pollution. This includes the materials we use for designs, how we source our products as well as supplies, and how we reuse or dispose of such materials after each event.

OWNER & Creative Director
Over the last 14 years designing hundreds of events. Thru my own design business Leigh Rice Design formerly Leigh & Mitchell and Lilyput and my role as Senior Designer and Director of Events at Oak and Fig Floral our partnering florist. My personal design aesthetic has evolved but art and creativity have always been at the forefront of my passion. Through the years, I have learned that details matter – the more personal, the better! I seek to elevate events by creating beautiful experiences that celebrate your personal style and personality.
In my work I gravitate toward lush, textural, romantic designs, but also love modern design. My favorite elements of wedding work are large scale design installations and bridal bouquets.

When not working I enjoy traveling, going to concerts or grabbing a glass of wine or cup of coffee with friends. My hobbies include cooking, gardening, and photography. You can find my creations on my blog Simple Garden Kitchen. Fun fact, I was a music major in college and play violin and sing at church.
