Leigh Rice Design & Flower Co. is a fine art floral design studio and shop based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We specialize in full-service weddings and intimate events, creating floral and event design that feels thoughtful, refined, and deeply personal.
Whether designing for a large downtown wedding or an intimate vineyard celebration, we approach each event with care and intention. Our work is known for artful floral arrangements and installations that help shape a cohesive, well-designed experience from start to finish. For floral design beyond events, our retail shop offers flowers and gifts for home, office, and everyday occasions, with delivery throughout Milwaukee and Waukesha County.
Our team designs for weddings and special events throughout Milwaukee, Southeastern Wisconsin, Door County, Chicago, and destination locations. We are committed to supporting local growers and sourcing American-grown flowers whenever possible. Sustainability is also an important part of our work, and we make thoughtful choices in the materials we use, the products we source, and how we reuse, recycle, and responsibly dispose of materials after each event.

Over the past 20 years and hundreds of events later, my design aesthetic has grown and evolved—but my love for art, creativity, and intentional detail has always been at the heart of it all. I’m proud and excited to create florals for all couples. Everyone deserves to feel celebrated with beautiful, meaningful flowers—no exceptions.
I’m inspired by a wide range of design styles, but I’m especially drawn to modern garden-inspired florals—refined, artful, and full of natural movement. I love creating work that feels both elevated and deeply personal, with thoughtful details that reflect your story and style.
With two decades of hands-on experience across a wide variety of event styles, sizes, and venues, I bring a calm, collaborative energy to every project. Whether it’s an intimate celebration or a large-scale production, my background allows me to be a strong, adaptable design partner—ready to bring your vision to life with care and creativity.
My work has been featured in over 75 publications, including Magnolia Rouge, Washington Wedding Day, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, 100 Layer Cake, Wedding Chicks, The White Wren, and more.
Outside of floral design, I love traveling, going to concerts, and catching up with friends over a glass of wine or a great cup of coffee. My hobbies include cooking, gardening, and photography—you’ll find a peek into that world on my blog, Simple Garden Kitchen.
And a fun fact: I was a music major in college, play violin, and still lead worship at church.
