Get to Know Me

A passionate event and floral designer, with a knack for detail.

Meet Amanda

Fremont Foundry found in the eclectic Fremont neighborhood of Seattle was the backdrop for Rachel & Elliot’s beautiful rooftop wedding. With a neutral palette focused on greenery with accents of blush, creams, and white tones it was the perfect palette to complement the industrial and modern beauty of the venue making this one of our favorite Fremont Foundry weddings to date.

Photographer Katie Parra really captured all the beauty of the wedding day details.

The flowers were a mix of garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, and eucalyptus, and seasonal blooms. The ceremony and cocktail hour took place on the roof, with dinner and dancing in the main indoor space. The rooftop is one of our favorite elements and assets of having a wedding at Fremont Foundry.

The chuppah incorporated the couples love of greenery. Lush smilax greenery growing asymmetrically up the Chuppah with roses cascading throughout making it feel like they were just growing there all along. Two tallits, each from one of couples grandpas who have passed away were used to cover the chuppah. The neutral palette was carried throughout the event with smilax greenery vines draped on lighting in the reception space creating a truly romantic atmosphere.

Rachel, the bride: We were introduced in high school by our close mutual friend. Our friendship quickly blossomed into a relationship and, eleven years later, we tied the knot!

The cake was modern and simple with clean white frosting with greenery growing up the side of it. Guest danced the night away.

A mix of round and rectangular tables were a part of Holly from Perfectly Posh Events design. Long garlands with roses, dahlias and votive candles cascaded down the tables. Round guest tables each had oversized bowl arrangements of ranunculus, roses and dahlias in whites, creams and a splash of blush. Light gray stoneware dishes with marble chargers added a modern touch to the table decor.
