Our styled beach elopement was featured this week on Seattle Bride Magazines blog. If you missed it head on over to check it out.
Our vision for this shoot was to showcase the beauty of spring in the PNW. We know that this was risky but began planning for an early spring beach elopement. Our backdrop, was the iconic Golden Gardens Park in Seattle, Washington. The weather did not disappoint, the day consisted of random rain storms, sun bursts, and even a little thunder! In the end, we were gifted with gorgeous moody skies and an amazing sunset which perfectly set the tone for our shoot.
Our Lilyput formerly Leigh and Mitchell team, partnered with Photographer Char Beck. Char took the most gorgeous and intimate photos of our couple. Char made the bride and groom feel comfortable with his ease of nature. We also had Char’s brother, Sid Beck created a fun video of evening and got all the fun moments capturing some beautiful footage.
Erica was our florist and stylist she began setting the table-scape in the blustery wind. We choose a palette of blues, grays, orange tones and gold accents. A simple stone compote filled with locally sourced floral featuring: pieris, dusty miller, majolica roses, ranunculus, thistle and hellebore. Erica added beach rocks with peach and blue tones to tie the theme together and add an organic element.
Our couple loves French desserts, macarons and shortbread cookies from Bakery Nouveau were the desired treat of the evening in flavors of coconut, chocolate, vanilla bean, and coffee. Anna created a simple and understated invitation suite and place cards featuring her beautiful hand lettering and watercolor skills to complete the look.
The bride and groom arrived and enjoyed their sweet treats on the beach, and walked the beach as they said their vows and enjoying the stunning view of the Olympics and the bright orange sunset.
Our bride, “Alice” wore a stunning ivory gown from Calla Bridal. We loved the lace details of the bodice and layered full skirt of tulle. Hannah Bush, owner of Urbanista Weddings, chose soft beach curls for our bride hair and neutral tones for makeup.
A simple loose styled bouquet of cream and orange toned blooms and greenery complemented our brides’ auburn locks. Anueva Jewelry provided one of their signature nature inspired rings and a gold leaf pendant necklace.
“Edmund,” our groom, wore a navy suit, and an orange bow tie from the Tie Bar which complemented his boutonnière and brides style.
We had a blast collaborating with this amazing group of talented PNW vendors. I hope you enjoy the images as much as we did creating them.
