About the Couple

Mikayla and Beau’s met during college at Pullman. Where Beau played football. They and their families are huge Coug fans of course! When we met up for our first meeting Mikayla had already done a lot of the planning herself and expressed that she wanted us to finalize and take all her ideas and details and make sure everything fell into its proper place.

The Wedding Day

On their big day. Mikayla, Beau and their Bridal party all got ready at the Hotel Murona in Downtown Tacoma. The morning was full of excitement from everyone as they got ready together. Both mom and sister were right beside the bride as she put on her dress, earrings and shoes. It was a really wonderful and intimate moment.

 

The First Look

The bride and groom met at the  Chinese Gardens near the water for their first look. This is always a magical moment for both the bride and groom to have to themselves before the event starts.

The Ceremony

Mikayla and Beau were so overwhelmed with love and joy as their guests gathered in support of their union. After the ceremony, the reception started with old fashioned ice cream bike cart which served handmade ice cream for all the guests! The guest really enjoyed this on the warm summer afternoon.

The Reception

The bride and groom danced the night away with all their friends and family, but not before tables were pushed back to make room for everyone on the dance floor! The couple ended the night with a sparkler exit and a special personal goodbye to their parents.
