Langham, Chicago is a chic backdrop for a Chicago wedding. Jen and Andrew were married at Old St. Patrick’s Church on a July day, which is always a classic in Chicago weddings. The classic color palette of blush, black, and white was highlighted throughout the decor. For personal florals, mostly white and blush were used to complement the black tuxedos and bridesmaid gowns. To pair with the Langham’s modern vibe and mirrored glass installations, we designed florals in terrariums and mercury glass compotes. We softened the terrariums with gray taper candles and marble bud vases. In order to highlight the sweetheart table, we designed a long floral centerpiece for the front of the table and tall arrangements on modern stands behind to create a backdrop.
It was such a joy to design the florals for Jen and Andrew and the planning team of Greatest Expectations. This wedding was truly a career highlight thus far and I just kept pinching myself that I get to call this my job.
