This Valentine’s day styled wedding, one of our favorite recent projects was featured on the Hey Wedding Lady  blog. Our inspiration for this styled wedding was to honor and celebrate love and Valentine’s with a romantic modern and sexy vibe. Wait till you see the boudoir vibe shots Catie captured!

All the love inspired details.

We partnered with the talented Catie Coyle as our photographer and we quickly came up with a gorgeous mood board of oxblood, marsala, grey, gold, blue. Hodina Co. provided their gorgeous yet simple charity bands for the wedding rings to bring out a modern, minimalist look. Makeup and hair were provided by Style by Shai and the cake was by Johanna of Delicately Sweet Confections.

Megan who partners with us at Lilyput formerly Leigh and Mitchell as a in-house designer created lovely watercolor invitations. Calla Bridal provided a dreamy gown with lush layers of tulle. I could have spent hours walking through the racks of dresses – absolutely gorgeous! I ended up with two dresses because I couldn’t decide. Erica’s vision for the florals surpassed my dreams, she did a gorgeous simplistic wall installation of greenery. I think it was the perfect touch. Simple dishes, soft linens, and white taper candles in mismatched brass candle holders pulled together a fine balance of romance and modernism into an exquisite table setting.

As we came up with the details we wanted to weave a story through the pictures. We like to imagine this couple has enjoyed every moment of their wedding day, getting ready, sipping champagne, and some quiet tender moments together after a long day on their feet.
